How do I reconstitute lyophilized peptides?

Allow the vial to reach room temperature first. Inject bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall — never directly onto the powder. Gently swirl (never shake) until dissolved. Refrigerate at 2–8°C once reconstituted and use within 4–6 weeks.
What is bacteriostatic water and why is it preferred?

Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol which inhibits bacterial growth, allowing multiple draws from the same vial over several weeks. It is preferred over plain sterile water for this reason. We stock pharmaceutical-grade BAC water in our accessories section.
How should I store peptides before reconstitution?
